What is a nappy cake?

 

A nappy cake, also known as a Baby Cake, is a unique and perfect gift for new parents to enjoy. Little Angel Nappy Cakes come in different sizes, starting from the mini comforter and can be made as big as a 5 tier cake. The cakes are created using high quality premium disposable nappies to resemble the shape of a cake. Each tier is decorated and packed full of beautiful baby items that a new baby needs and parents’ will find useful.

 

What is a baby bouquet?

 

Baby bouquets are a modern, beautiful alternative to a real bouquet which is often given on the arrival of a new baby. Our unique baby bouquets are handmade to order and include useful baby items rolled up to resemble real flowers. Our qualified florist will then  add some greenery and artificial flowers to make the bouquet even more realistic.

 

What is a towel cake?

 

Towel cakes are non-edible cakes made from towels. These can be bath towels, hand towels, face cloths (flannels) or even tea towels for your kitchen. Each cake is beautifully created to resemble a real cake, filled with wonderful extras and decorated with beautiful ribbon and decorations.

 

Where do nappy cakes come from originally?

 

Nappy Cakes are very popular in America and are given as gifts to new parents. They also make unique centre pieces for baby showers, which are becoming increasingly popular in the UK.

 

What are the quality of the items used?

 

We pride ourselves in making the most beautiful of products which you will be proud to give as gifts. Not only do we want the product to be perfect but we also want parents’ to enjoy and actually use the ingredients we use to create these perfect gifts. 

 

How is the nappy cake wrapped?

 

Once the product has been made, we skillfully wrap the cake in cellophane and add colour coordinating ribbon at no extra cost. The product is then placed in a sturdy box and carefully marked for the journey to you or the recipient.

 

What size of nappies are used?

 

We are passionate about using only the highest of quality products in our cakes. Nappies are usually a size 1 or 2 to allow a little extra time before the cake is disassembled, however smaller nappies can be used upon request.

 

Will the nappy cake look exactly like the one i ordered?

 

Little Monkey's products are made upon order and although we aim to provide the exact same cakes, bouquets and hampers that you have ordered, due to unforeseen circumstances with our suppliers, we may be unable to provide the exact one. If this does occur we will replace the product with other colour coordinating items, which of course will be of equal or greater in value.

 

Do you make custom nappy cakes?

 

Yes, if you have a specific theme that you would like to use, please contact us to discuss budgets and requirements.

 

 

I dont have paypal - can i pay another way?

 

Yes of course. When you go through to the PayPal screen for payment, there is a link below which states 'Pay by debit or credit card'. If you do not have a debit card or cannot complete your order for some reason, please contact us and we can provide you with alternative details in order for you to complete your order.

 

Is my card safe to use?

 

Little Monkey's only use PayPal to process the online transaction. The card information exchanged is encrypted and Little Monkey's do not have access to the card details provided.

 

How long is delivery?

 

We will process and dispatch all orders as fast as we can and the majority of orders will be dispatched within 3 working days. If you are in any doubt as to when you will receive your order please contact us and we will be happy to give you a more accurate time scale at that given time.

Orders being sent to a Mainland UK address will be sent via Royal Mail - you will receive an email when the items have been dispatched.
 

Delivery is at a flat charge of £5.99 per package sent. Postage is Free if your order totals more than £50. If you require a different delivery service or your order has to be sent in more than one box, the remainder of the costs will be billed to you. We will email you to confirm this prior to dispatch.

If you purchase more than one baby gift or nappy cake, depending on the nature of the items we may have to send them in separate parcels which may be delivered separately.

 

Sending your nappy cake to an Alternative Delivery Address

 

During the checkout process, you will be able to add a message to us via PayPal. Please do this if you require your item delivered to an alternate address. The billing address must be the address the payment card is registered to.

 

If you are sending your parcel to someone else, please provide us with any information you wish to go on a gift tag, and we will happily write this on for you.

 

Please check the delivery address carefully as Little Monkey’s Gifts cannot be held responsible for any problems with delivery where an old, incorrect or incomplete address has been given although we will try to contact you to resolve the issue if we are aware that the address is incorrect or incomplete before the item is dispatched.

 

If you would like us to deliver to a hospital, please make sure the recipient will still be in the hospital the day of delivery. Please also state their full name, ward and room number if possible.

 

In the unlikely event that the recipient is not in the hospital when our delivery driver gets there, your parcel could be returned to us. Any fees we incur for this will be charged to you. 
 

Important Information:

 

Please note your order will require a signature upon delivery. Please ensure there is someone available to sign for your nappy cake parcel. Little Monkey’s Gifts cannot be held responsible for any delays incurred by the courier nor can we be held responsible for any matters regarding the courier attempting delivery if there is no-one available to sign for your parcel.

 

Little Monkey's Gifts cannot be held responsible for delays due to causes beyond our control, adverse weather conditions, acts of God and so on. Nor can we be held responsible for delays or parcels returned to us if an incomplete or incorrect delivery address is supplied by you. Please check all delivery addresses carefully when placing your order.

 

Products will be insured against loss or damage for their full value. Items will only be dispatched after the payment clears in our accounts. 

 

Where can nappy cakes be delivered?

 

Little Monkey's delivers to any valid address in Mainland UK. 

We do not currently ship nappy cakes outside of Mainland UK.

 

 

Collect your nappy cake directly from us

 

To save on postage and packaging of your nappy cake you are more than welcome to collect your order in person from us. We are based in Margate, Kent. We are close to all ameneties so you should have no trouble finding us!  

 

Please call or email for further details. Collections are available during the daytime, evenings and weekends, however this must be arranged and agreed by us beforehand, please get in touch for more details. 

 

Returns

 

If you are unhappy with your order you are welcome to return for a full refund.  You are responsible for returning the goods to us and on receipt we will provide a full refund.  The cost of returning items to us is not refundable.

 

Distance Selling Regulations and Your Right to Cancel

 

Under the distance selling regulations you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website, for a full refund. Your cancellation rights expire 7 working days from the date you contact us or after 7 working days of receipt of the delivery. The distance selling regulations further specify when your cancellation rights expire. Cancellation is only deemed served if sent using one of the methods listed on our 'Contact Us' page.

 

Upon receipt of your cancellation request, we shall refund you in full as soon as possible, but in any event, no later than 30 days from receipt of your cancellation request.

 

When returning your item(s), it is important that you contact us beforehand (as stated above) and ensure that any items sent back are sent by a trackable delivery service. The cost of returning items to us is not refundable.
